Bird Watching

Today I found some time to do some bird watching. I had both my cell phone and my regular camera, but even so it was hard to get good pictures. A lot of the trees hid the birds from view, and they were being very skittish as always (I don't blame them, really). After cropping and messing around with some of the pictures so the birds are in better view, I only had a couple pictures, but I like them so I'll share them.

The gold finches, as promised. I was lucky to get these three, I didn't notice there were three until I zoomed in more on the picture.

I believe those are Sparrows, if they don't look like them I blame my camera (or my horrible photo editing, haha).

I don't know exactly why I took this picture, but something told me too when I saw all the trees. I like the picture, even though there aren't any birds in it (which really surprised me, you'd think there would be).

  1. I really wish we had gold finches over here but at least I can view photographs of them~
Those are some nice shots, though the quality's not so great and why the hell did it take you such a fucking long time to get off your ass and take some pics I wait for days...

  3. O_o
A little unexpected, yes, but no matter. I was wondering if you'd react like that simply because my research has been telling me about those tendencies-------but that's besides the point, I'm glad you at least like the pictures of the birds.

  4. Urk, I just feel really bad now. I have no idea where that came from, I've all ready taken my meds and all...

But about the picture with all the trees, I really do wonder what compelled you to take it. I don't like looking at it. I don't know, but I think it's because of all the shadows.

  5. It's okay, really. You can't depend on the meds to help with everything all the time, sadly. There's always holes.

Now that I look back, I have no idea why I took it, there's nothing special about the trees at all. I understand why you'd dislike the shadows-the picture creeps me out a little too.
